Observatory Soon To Begin Fall Program
Submitted by admin on Thu, 08/14/2008 - 11:57The Thomas G. Cupillari ’60 Astronomical Observatory will begin its fall program on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and will continue each Wednesday and Friday evening through Friday, Nov. 14.
The astronomical programs will feature an illustrated lecture and weather-permitting, observation through telescopes.
The main objects planned for observation include the Moon; the planets Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune; various double stars; star clusters; nebulae and galaxies.
